Finally some news from the world wide phenomenon "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK". If you've been shooting hoops and loving every second of it with "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" in theaters, you're in for a slam-tastic treat! The big news is, the Blu-ray and DVD releases are finally announced.
You might recall this slammin' movie hitting theaters worldwide in 2023, and it kept us entertained all the way through the summer. Well, get ready to relive the magic because on February 28, 2024, they announced the Blu-ray and DVD release, and you can start pre-ordering from October 27, 2023.

Here's where it gets interesting – there are not just three or four (as movies usually get), but SEVEN different editions! Yep, you heard that right. There's something for everyone, whether you're a DVD or Blu-ray fan, or you're all about that crisp 4K quality.

In case you didn't know, "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" had a whopping 39-week run in Japan theaters. That's a slam dunk marathon, right?
Now, a little sad twist here – while the movie rocked theaters worldwide with English subtitles, the initial Blu-ray and DVD pre-orders will come only with optional Japanese subtitles for hearing impaired. It's a bit of a surprise as anime movies which screened worldwide usually re-use the same subtitles in their discs. It seems global fans will have to wait a bit more for news on translations.
