TL;DR
The biggest contributors to the list are mobile shooter-style games, as most if not all characters in them typically wield some form of gun. In our list, we have Blue Archive, Girls' Frontline, and Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Additionally, we've included some one-off franchises that also had a character prominently feature larger guns.

Anime girls carrying big guns create an interesting contrast, blending cuteness with aggression. Figures featuring such characters often draw inspiration from gunplay or gun-related anime series, predominantly originating from games like Blue Archive, Goddess of Victory: Nikke, or Azur Lane.

Blue Archive

A highly popular South Korean mobile game featuring characters in school clothing style, occasionally incorporating animal or mythical creature elements like ears and horns. As of now, Blue Archive is in the process of making an anime adaptation (Blue Archive: The Animation), a move that is expected to increase the number of associated figures. Currently we found 7 figures with bigger than average guns. These big gun figures include characters: Karin Kakudate, Hina Sorasaki, Mashiro Shizuyama, Mutsuki Asagi, Kazusa Kyouyama and Misono Mika.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke

"Goddess of Victory: Nikke" is another South Korean shooter with anime-styled characters, but it's even more recent than Blue Archive, having had its initial release on November 4, 2022. Figures from major manufacturing companies are just starting to appear in pre-order sections. In this section we have brands like FuRyu, Good Smile Company, Max Factory and FREEing - overall there are 4 figures with big guns.

Lycoris Recoil

"Lycoris Recoil," from the anime lineup of the summer season in 2022, features a lot of guns but mostly focuses on pistols. As a result, there aren't many big gun girl figures, but we did come across Takina Inoue. Did you know that this anime has announced a second season? So the chance for more big gun figures is still there.

Fate/Grand Order

In Fate/Grand Order, the reason for a short list is that it most often features old-style weapons like swords, spears, and staffs. Few characters like Koyanskaya are the exception to this rule.

Girls' Frontline

Girls' Frontline is a mobile game made by a China-based company and launched back in May 20, 2016. The franchise had a few anime adaptations but experienced modest success with them (Doll's Frontline). Now, the game is set to get a sequel in 2024 called Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. The old game of course has much more figures, so for now let's look at UKM-2000, NTW-20, Kar98k, ST AR-15 and ZB-26 with their big guns.

Azur Lane

Azur Lane figures rarely showcase actual handguns; instead, they often make characters in everyday environments or incorporate miniature ship elements like artillery cannons. Ark Royal stands out as a rare exception in this anime category.

Sum Up

The primary sources of big gun girl figures are Blue Archive, Girls Frontline, and Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Currently, Blue Archive leads the list, with Girls' Frontline following closely behind. This list can certainly be more expansive, but other figures mostly have similar average-sized rifles already included. We'll keep an eye out for larger weapons such as machine guns and sniper rifles that stand out more.
